Marcela was born in Armenia, Quindío, the Coffee Region of Colombia, and is the founder of The Coffee Dream Company in Canton, MA. She grew up in a coffee environment, as her father worked for more than 25 years at the National Federation of Coffee Growers of Colombia.
Marcela is constantly inspired by her family (husband, kids, mom, and dad). Her favorite quote is Gandhi’s “be the change that you wish to see in the world,” which carries over to her company vision and values of honesty, integrity, reliability, and excellence… to name just a few.
Marcela’s guilty pleasure is plantains with dark hot chocolate, her celebrity crush is Lenny Kravitz, and you can find her listening to Raggaeton when alone in the car. She admits that she is a cross between our “salt-ry” and “empower-mint” NaughtyGood Bites.
